I Live in Nevada But Need Fingerprints for Another State
If you reside in Nevada and need fingerprints submitted to an out of state agency, the process is straightforward. Visit any Fingerprinting Express location to obtain a fingerprint card, then mail the completed FD258 fingerprint card directly to the requesting agency or state. This is the standard process for most states that do not accept electronic submissions from out of state providers.
Florida Is the Exception
Florida allows electronic Live Scan submissions from approved providers located outside of Florida. Fingerprinting Express is an approved FDLE provider. If you need fingerprints for a Florida license, Florida Level 2 background check, or any FDLE submission, we can submit electronically on your behalf without requiring you to travel to Florida.

I Live Outside of Nevada But Need Nevada Fingerprints
If you reside in another state but need a Nevada Live Scan electronic submission, there is no need to fly into Nevada. Here is how it works:
- Obtain an FD258 fingerprint card at any local law enforcement agency or private fingerprinting site near you.
- Mail the completed fingerprint card with a copy of a valid government-issued ID to Fingerprinting Express.
- We collect payment and convert your fingerprint card to a Nevada Live Scan electronic submission on your behalf.
- We provide you with the proper form and your TCN (Tracking Control Number) to submit to the requesting Nevada agency.
This process is the most common solution for non residents needing a Nevada background check for licensing or employment. It is frequently used by applicants pursuing a Nevada nursing license, Nevada gaming license, Nevada real estate license, Nevada contractors board license, Nevada guard card, and other regulated professions that require state fingerprint submission.
