In order for us to process your background check request, we will collect and share with the state and FBI your full legal name and date of birth as listed on your Identity Documents presented. We will also collect and share with the state and FBI your residential address, signature, place of birth, citizenship, hair color at the time of fingerprinting, eye color, height, weight, race and sex.  We collect this information directly from you when you or your employer, or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and/or the State of Nevada and/or state you are submitting for a fingerprint background check, provide it to us.

 

How We Use Your Information

 

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, (a) to provide you with information and services that you request from us, (b) to fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it, (c) to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection, (d) in any other way we may describe when you provide the information and/or (e) for any other purpose with your consent. We respect your privacy and will protect your personal information to the best of our ability.

 

Disclosure of Your Information

Data Security

 

We have implemented Homeland Security measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. [All information you provide to us is stored on our secure systems behind firewalls. Any payment transactions and reporting to government agencies for the sole purpose of your fingerprint background check will be encrypted using SSL technology. Unfortunately, no storage or transmission of information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

 

Under Nevada law, you have the right to submit a “verified request” to us directing us not to make any “sale” of any “covered information” we have collected, or will collect, about you. The terms in quotations have the following meanings:

“Verified request” means a request for which we can reasonably verify the authenticity of the request and your identity using commercially reasonable means.

“Sale” means the exchange of “covered information” for monetary consideration to a person for that person to license or sell the covered information to additional persons. However, “sale” does not include any of the following:
